Set up your PayPal account

To receive payments in your FaceStore, there are certain criteria that need to be made in your PayPal account.


1) Open a PayPal account - Business type

  • go to;
  • Click Create Account;
  • Choose  Business Account;
  • Follow the steps.

2) How to configure your email 

  • Check your registered email inbox; 
  • Click at Paypal received e-mail; 
  • Click the button Email Confirmation, and access to your Paypal account; 
  • You need to enter your password when you access Paypal. 

Case you didn't receive the Paypal Email Confirmation, follow the steps below: 

  • Access to your Paypal account; 
  • In option My Account, click at Email Confirmation, in the Notificacions frame;
  • Click in Ask for a new Confirmation Number, and a new email will be sent to your registered email; 
  • Follow the steps above. 

3) How to add and configure your bank account

  • Access to your Paypal account;
  • In My Account, click in Profile and Add or Edit you Bank Account.
  • Fill in the requested fields and press Add;
  • Review the informations, and click in Add Bank Account.


To obtain the data from your Paypal account to set in Facestore, enter in you Paypal account and access to your profile. 


On the Profile choose the option: API access - Manage API credentials to integrate my PayPal account with my online store or shopping cart.



Choose the option 2 - "Option 2 - Request API credentials to create your own API username and password."


Click in View API Signature, and in the next window appears your API data. 

Copy this data to a safe place. 

5) Set your Facestore wih your Paypal account data.

To activate Paypal  to your Facestore, access your backoffice, and click in Configurations > Payment Configurations

Chose Paypal option and put your API data in their fields. 

Click Save. Your Facestore is ready to receive Paypal payments.
